I would try to ask for abit more for A-Rod but in the end, I'd do it. Cheers

I would do it.
I actually have arod in my keeper league and I am trying to figure out a way to deal him this offseason. i think this season is a sign of things to come. He is no longer an elite players.....he is now "just" very good. Over the next few seasons I think we are going to see arod make periodic trips to the DL and be streaky instead of concistently solid. Plus....it looks like he will no longer be stealing bases.
I know SP's are always riskier than hitters.....but Ubaldo is elite (and, like i said before....arod is no longer elite). Plus, you have Longoria to fill in for arod at 3B. I think you gotta take the deal.
help with mine?

in a 10 man keeper id say definitely, because it looks like you aren't using a-rod anyway, and while he still looks ok this year hes obviously starting to decline...more and more of those day to day injuries, took him forever to get started this year, and the average isnt what it's been. the only way i wouldn't advocate this would be if you could get someone you like better than Ubaldo as a keeper SP...but there aren't a whole lot of those, and i know i wouldn't give up lester or jj for arod at this point so id take what you can get.

I would get this deal done ASAP. A-ROD is nothing more than a fancy name now a days. He is obviously on the decline plus no PEDs. Ubaldo is now at the prime age of 26 and the next three years will be cy young contending seasons possibly even a CY young trophy this year... Even though Jimeniz has hit a bit of a bump in the road in the second half he is a GREAT keeper. I would get this deal done before the other owner realizes what a fool he is.

I would do the trade. You already have Longoria and Ubaldo is a solid SP keeper.
