i personally dont like angelina being back. id rather just watch them all get drunk and do stupid stuff....im not much of a fan of them just yelling at her

and how horrible is Big Brother.....i tried to watch it the other night bc my wife had it on...but my head exploded 5 mins into it. seriously...its just people talking and plotting to ruin other people...they dont do anything. how the hell can that be entertaining. even having girls w big knockers couldnt keep me around...which is saying a lot

so i guess this turned into a duel thread. i initially only had it as JS...but if anybody wants to talk about BB also go for it

I don't watch either shows. I keep hearing about Jersey Shore but I'm usually clueless as to what that show is about.

I will say that in the UK, Big Brother is much more popular than in the States and from what I've ascertained, more controversial abroad also.

I watched the 1st season of BB and thought it was OK(don't remember much of it now), but I decided to turn it on at the start of the season and now I am hooked - not that I am proud of that and I think it has made me a bit more dumb for having watched it. It is not the most entertaining thing on TV (OK it is not entertaining at all), but I am amused at how dumb these people are and trying to figure out which 'alliance' is going to prevail.

Never seen the Shore and have no interest.

I've never seen either show, but at least Big Brother isn't quite as invasive, ironically. Jersey Shore has become a pop culture phenomenon that is unavoidable. Despite never having seen an episode, I can name a few characters off of Jersey Shore, and I know some of the key things that happened in the first season. I wish I didn't, but it's impossible to not hear about Jersey Shore. Big Brother, on the other hand, I didn't even know was still on air.

I don't watch these shows, though I have caught a couple partial episodes of Jersey Shore. I've seen enough to know that bros don't go to the beach, even if they live in a sweet beach house, bro-ettes prefer fake tans and balloon muscles, and fist pumping in the club is a must.

Also bros never want to get into fights, yet somehow they're always fighting.
