Here's my roster
C - Brian McCann
1B - Billy Butler
2B - Ben Zobrist
3B - David Wright
SS - Elvis Adrus
LF - Shin-Soo Choo
CF - Matt Kemp
RF - Jayson Werth
DH - Adam Lind
UTIL - Ryan Zimmerman
Bench - Aaron Hill, Brian Roberts, Denard Span, Pablo Sandoval
Zobrist was recently out for a week and Roberts started his come back from the DL so I grabbed him to fill in. Then Roberts had a day of and I had a roster spot open for streaming pitchers so I picked up Aaron Hill. I have been pondering making a move for Tulowitzki for a while now. My league has some unusual hitting categories that I feel limit my shortstop Elvis Andrus's value. The categories are H, R, HR, RBI, BB, K, SAC, SB, CS, AVG, E, DPT, and BTW. I feel like the caught stealing category pretty much offsets the value that base stealers have. This is because although I usually win stolen bases I also get caught more often than other teams because my team is attempting to steal more. This pretty much makes these categories a wash and I don't come out with an advantage here. This makes me want to move Andrus for a shortstop with more power and RBI potential.
So my plan was to move Andrus and one of my second basemen for Tulowitzki. I was thinking of moving Zobrist along with Andrus and I think Tulowitzki's owner would accept this trade. Should I make this move? Can I rely on Aaron Hill and Brian Roberts. Hill has been having a much better second half but I'm still not sure if I can count on him. And Brian Roberts has been pretty much injured all year so I'm not sure what to do. Also, if I propose one of my other 2nd basemen along with Andrus would that be a fair trade? Thanks in advance for any help.
