As in years past, there are always a handful of guys who carry our teams through the last few weeks of the season and through the playoffs but theyre currently lingering on our WW. Theres always a hidden gem or two that linger out there or get a late call-up or just turn it on in the last couple months of the season, just in time to ignite our fantasy teams to glory... with that said, who do you guys think could earn those honors this year????
Ill throw one guy out there to start, Alex Gordon has been a letdown from the start but hes back healthy and is currently doing just ok, but he could turn it on in the last couple months, keep an eye out!
I look forward to your contributions!

Travis Snider if he's still out there. He's playing most days and hitting toward the top of the lineup lately. Felix Pie's been looking good as well recently. Hopefully he can stay healthy.

Don't sleep on Jim Thome as a matchup play in deeper leagues.....1.056 OPS against righties this year and he has been a second half hitter the last few seasons.

Yeah, Snider crushed that 3 run HR last night against Dice K...could be a nice source of power if he can stay healthy and in the lineup.
Keppinger has turned it on ... dude can swing a pretty decent stick when he's on ... that multipositional eligiblity can be big down the stretch if you're under Max Games Played by a few and your studs are starting to get more frequent rest.
I feel like Manny could come off the DL looking to show some AL clubs that he can still be a very productive DH.. he'll be rested after all of his time off.. could come up big..
Hellickson DEFINITELY fits this criteria but the only problem is that hes owned in any and all "savvy" leagues, so he might not be attainable... Im gonna add a few young pitchers to this list...
Homer Bailey had a solid start against the Marlins last week, posting a Win with 6 IP, 4 Ks, 0 BB... not bad, plus the fact that he crushed lastyr in his last 9 Starts to go 6-1 with a near 9.00 k/9 and a sub 2.10 ERA
Jon Nieses last 3 Starts have been GREAT, but what does he have to show for it??? 3 No decisions!!! Hes gone 7 Innings in all 3 starts and only allowed 1 ER in all 3 starts. He had a combined 19 K's in those 21 IP, plus only 5 BB (which actually all came in his 1st of these 3 starts, so 0 BB his last 2 starts!) The most Hits hes allowed was 7... Thats a Great ERA, Great Whip, and Solid K/9... now we just need the Metropolitans to score some Runs and get the poor man some Wins!!!
Derek Hollands the last guy ill add to this list and he could be a complete hit or miss. He starts tomorrow against TB and im gonna roll the dice and start him. I know, i know, TBs offense is Beastly but theyve allowed some Stellar Pitching performances against them (I ALMOST benched Morrow last Sunday bc of this idea that TBs offense is Beastly, but I didnt make that mistake... and I wont make that mistake with Holland... Ive got em going 6.1 IP, 7 K's, 2 ER, for the Win!) Wish me luck!
