Minor or Zimmermann, WHIR!

Hey guys,

I usually have a decent enough time on making WW pick ups, but I'm really struggling with this one. Should I drop my Jordan Zimmermann for Mike Minor? I have the #6 waiver priority, and would have to use it on Minor. If I shouldn't drop Zimm, should I drop anyone else from my team? Thanks guys!

I would go ahead and pick up Minor. Your pitching staff looks pretty solid at the moment, so you could really just stick with Zimmermann. But he is still several rehab starts away from being back while Minor is pitching right now. As good as Zimmermann's peripherals looked last year, there's no guarantee that he gets locked in right away. Just look at the inconsistency that Volquez has shown since his return.

Given that the Nats are in last place, they may not rush Zimmermann and will likely baby him when comes up.
