This trade seems desirable to me because I have the following other outfielders:

Nelson Cruz
Carlos Quentin
Brett Gardner
Jason Kubel
Shane Victorino (DL)

I start 3 OFs and put a fourth in my UTIL spot. Victorino will be coming back soon and I want to clear space for him by getting some quality pitching in return for one of my other OFs.

I'd make that move. I'd rather have Beckett and you OF looks good.

I wouldn't do it. I think Beckett is having an off year and he is coming off the DL. Corey Hart, although he has that hopefully minor hamstring/back issue right now, is on fire.
