No problem I didn't think guys like him were that difficult to figure out but to each their own. Take Peterson if Favre comes back.
Just asking for opinions and real thoughts ... no need to condescend and act like a know it all.
Chill out and take a joke man....his name IS Chris Johnson after all......
Real thoughts? He's not for real and you should see if somebody will buy into him for a mid-level starter or a one-cat specialist in a roto setting. I just flipped him and Seth Smith for Juan Pierre in a league where I could win if I can make a late run in steals.

lol, you're right ... my bad, man.
I didn't get your joke the first time.
Yeah, I agree .. I think I'd take Chris Johnson 1st or 2nd overall as well.
And thanks for your thoughts on CJ version 2.0 as well ... I haven't been able to catch any Houston games.
He's got enough power that he could be a solid player in Houston's band box since he's a righty. I would sell him if you can but otherwise he's fine as a fill-in instead of most of the other lower tier players.
Nothing in his minor league numbers suggests he is this good, but yet there he is, 300 PA's in and he is still hitting .320 and has driven in 48, with decent pop. I know his BABIP is high, but even if it normalizes, is he still a .300 third baseman with some pop?

I'm with you. As yous aid, he won't hit .320, but I wouldn't be surprised if he was in the .290-.300 range next year.
I remember everyone talking about Casey McGehee the same way as Johnson. His minor league numbers didn't suggest he would be anything, but he clearly has value in fantasy.
Again, I don't expect great things from Johnson. But in my two deep NL only keeper leagues I have him cheap. Since the league is deep, anytime you can spend just a few bucks for above average return is golden.
