stat entry system

After looking this over, it seems a little out of my league, as I know nothing about Excel or how to import files, etc. Would anyone be willing to just set up a template for me? I would be able to pay for your time. Once everything is set up, I would probably be able to update the file with current stats.

There are 3 sheets 1 with hitter stats, 1 with pitching stats, and one that pulls all the info together. Go through the hitters and pitchers stats and put the team number you want the player to be on in the first column. It should automagically update the team totals and the standings. I used a pretty basic standings formula so it might not work with 3-way or more ties.

*Edit 2 - If you want to update the stats later simply copy/paste the dougstat page into the stat page (starting with B1 just make sure you don't copy the pre open or pre close tag). Do a text to column delimited by the space character.

No problem. The bad part is that when you update the player stats you will have to reinput the teams since they will add new players to the list bumping your team assignments off. There are ways around that too, but that is waaay more work.

For the most part that is what I use for draft day, obviously using projections instead of current stats.
