Utley for Kinsler or AROD - WHIR

Tough decision here. 1o team, roto keeper league. We can keep 5 at the end of the year. Here is my predicament. I am currently targeting to keep McCann, Howard, Crawford and Longoria. I have Utley at 2B as a potential 5th keeper, but wanted to get feedback on one of these options.

Option 1: Stay put and keep Utley as the 5th keeper. (Keepers would be: McCann, Howard, Crawford, Longoria, Utley)
Option 2: Trade Utley for Kinsler and keep Kinsler as my 5th keeper. While Kinsler is more of injury risk, he is younger. (Keepers would be: McCann, Howard, Crawford, Longoria, Kinsler)
Option 3: Trade Utley for AROD which will mean having two 3B in a league without a CI so my UTIL will already be locked up for next year if I do this trade. (Keepers would be: McCann, Howard, Crawford, Longoria, AROD)

If you have held on to Utley this long, I would just keep him.

If this was 2 months ago, I would have maybe said make a move, but I would keep him over the other guys.

Utley is injured now, but Kinsler's the one with the much longer injury history. I actually like Kinsler as a fantasy player (20-20 potential and has been unlucky in BA), but this isn't worth a deal. As for A-Rod, I would avoid a clearly declining player in a keeper league -- A-Rod doesn't even put up better numbers than Utley anymore, and his position is deeper.

Utley is the best of the three at this point in their careers and he is at a premium position. Keep Utley

I feel keeper-wise Utley is the best of the 3. I am afraid of Kinsler and you have Longoria.

Please do not trade Utley for either of these guys. His current injury was an accident and not part of a systematic string of injuries (Kinsler). He'll be healthy for years to come. Kinsler won't be.

2B is a weak position and you have a premium power-hitter. Don't give it up for a guy at the end of his career at a CI position (A-Rod).

Utley's posted 5 straight season's with an OPS over .900; Kinsler has NEVER posted a season with an OPS over .900.

Keep Utley and be thankful you have him.

I have to agree with the others. Utley is the better bat now. I don't like what the huge negative trends in A-Roid's power might signal.

Utley is generally healthier and more dependable than Kinsler, and he's much better than the declining A-Rod.
