Would you have done either of these trades? WHIR

In one league, I was absolutely stacked at outfielder so I traded Vlad for Zack Greinke because I was dying for pitching help. My best pitcher was Ryan Dempster...so I feel like I had to do it, was it worth it?

Team A - yahoo! 12 team h2h league...5x5 non-keeper

c - Matt Wieters
1b - Mark Teixieria
2b - Dan Uggla
3b - Chipper Jones
ss - Marco Scutaro
of - Ryan Braun, Josh Hamilton, Delmon Young
util - Johnny Damon, Scott Podsednik
bn - Jorge Posada, Alfonso Soriano
sp - R. Dempster, Cole Hamels, , S. Marcum, Edwin Jackson, Brett Myers, Gavin Floyd, Edison Volquez, Zack Greinke
rp -Ryan Franklin, Matt Lindstrom, John Axford

In another league I sold Scott Rolen high and added Derek Jeter to get Tim Lincecum, I bought him somewhat lower but he accepted the trade...was it worth it?

Team B - 10 teams, non-keeper league

c - Kurt Suzuki
1b - Adam LaRoche
2b - Brian Roberts
3b - Michael Young
ss - Hanley Ramirez
of - Adam Dunn, Justin Upton, Angel Pagan
util - Corey Hart, Nick Markakis
bn - Chris Johnson, Aubrey Huff, Ben Zobrist
DL - Dustin Pedroia
sp - Tim Lincecum, Jon Lester, James Shields, Edison Volquez, Tim Hudson, Rich Harden, Hiroki Kuroda, Max Scherzer
rp -Ryan Franklin, Matt Lindstrom, Jon Papelbon

I feel like maybe you could have gotten a pitcher that could post more wins than on a weak Royals team. If you tried and this was the best offer you could get through, you definately needed SPing and have plenty of power without Vlad, so I would have done that trade as well.

Second one, you have Hanley and Young at Rolen/Jeters position and drastically improved your pitching. I'd definately have done that trade. No second thoughts.

It was the only trade I could actually get done...Vlad for Johan, Vlad for Cliff Lee, Vlad for Lince, but this guy actually wanted to trade Greinke...

Then yeah, its a good trade. You really did need the pitching and Grienke will still contribute in every category.
