Since Youk went down I have been trying to get a 3B. I was close tho obtaining ARod but the owner seemed to be eager through email but once trade was actually proposed he balked. Now there is a new offer on table from a different owner:

I get Longoria/Hart

I give Kemp/Phillips

I can use Zobrist at 2B till Utley returns. Granted this is another email offer so could change was phisically proposed.

Yes. I'd do it without hesitation. You're upgrade at 3B is much greater than the downgrade at either 2B or OF in a non keeper.

Longoria/Hart side wins. In my book there IS no downgrade in the OF and you get an upgrade at 3b which isn't easy to do and also you have Zobrist who is poor man's Brian Roberts plsu Utley for the stretch run. Thismeans you have extra 2b. DO IT NOW! You trade from depth to gain where you need. Perfect trade rationale and stratagems.
