Normally, I'm decisive in these situations...but this one still has me on the fence :-?

carlos lee played well last year, but prior to last year he was really streaky. jones has been very consistent for quite a while. I wish he still stole bases, but I like jones a lot. I think I have him on all my fantasy teams.

I'd prefer Jones. I like Lee but his SB aren't enough for me overlook Jones batting cleanup and what I think are really good odds he has a great season.

When choosing a hitter, what difference does the league make?

A Jones, i think is the easy choice in a keeper. Better talent, and still only 26, pre-peak.
