I would not do this deal.

Zimmerman is much better than Alvarez this year and most likely for the next few years. I would definitely keep Zimmerman if you want to win the ship.

Since this is a keeper league I would assume that J.P. Arencibia of the Blue Jays is owned? If he is not you may want to consider him. John Buck was just placed on the DL so he should see an extended time at catcher. In AAA this year .303 with 31 homers and 79 RBIs. The homers should stick in the Majors but the average should fall to the .260-.280 range.

If he is not available or you don't want to take a chance I would just stick with Ruiz.

Good Luck!

Thanks for the information. Also JP was picked up the day that Martin went down, he was actually the first person I looked for.

Would you counter with Bard for Wieters?

I doubt he would do that.

Where is he weak?

He's weak all over, he has a young team that's sitting in second last. He has Agon, JJ and Lester but he's weak after that.

IDK...Maybe you could try to sell Nolasco/Ruiz for Wieters? It is a keeper so Wieters has more value after this year.

I wouldnt give much more than that though.
