It is official that Youk is going to have season-ending thumb surgery. Is Lowell worth picking up in a 10x10 league?

Yes, but it depends on who you would be dropping in order to get him. Let us know who on your roster you would be giving up? - then I'll be able to let you know whether or not I think it's worth it.

I am thinking about Lowell also. I also heard the Sox are looking at Delgado to platoon with Lowell at first.
