One day Prop 8 will be viewed as just as silly and as dark of a spot on America's history as Jim Crow laws. Of course there will always be those who believe Jim Crow laws and Prop 8 were a-ok.

Love and misery and elation and pain and infatuation and desire and longing and hate and all are parts of a relationship, and these are not emotions exclusive to heteros. These are human emotions that you and I and everyone under sun feel every day. Saying to someone that they cannot marry the one they love because they're the wrong gender... whose authority made that happen? Where did we come up with this crap?

Love is love is love. Let 'em get married. It ain't going to bother me none.
