3B Mark Reynolds was forced to leave the game after being hit in the head by a 95 mph fastball from Washington RHP Collin Balester in the last of the sixth inning. Reynolds, who hit a three-run home run in the fourth, stayed on the ground near the batter's box for a moment before leaving under his own power. He had had a cut over his left eye where the batting helmet was forced into his face, but tests were negative and he said he felt OK.

Probably will sit today and tomorrow but otherwise he's OK. Just when he was heating up a little too.
