To him: Ian Stewart, Roy Oswalt

Might seem like a slight overpay, but I dont love Oswalt, he always seems to get roughed up whenever I am starting him, and I think his value was at his peak right after he got dealt to Philly. Stewart is exactly the type of guy I dont need- low average, good power type of guy. Im currently first in both RBI, and R, while in third in HR and gaining quickly on the leader in that category.

Young gives me a good average, since im fourth last in avg, and lots of R in that Texas lineup. There is also no drop off in the HR and RBI stats from Stewart. I really wanted him, so that he could round out my lineup and fill my vacant UTIL spot. Im in second place, right on the leaders heels, so this deal Im hoping will push me over the top

Is my thinking off here?

If you are deep at pitcher then I dont think this will hurt you much. the league im in has it set up so pitchers are slllllightly more important IMO than hitters. def. upgrade in bats. like i said if you are deep at pitcher and wont miss oswalt then it was a good deal.
