It is a keeper league where you keep a player where you pick them, Brown would be a 22nd round pick for me next year and Berkman would strictly be a player for this year only. Would you do this trade?

If you are in it this year go for Berkman, if they are hitting him number 2 in their order he will be worth it and Brown will lose PT when Victorino returns. But if you are not in it for this go for Brown as he is good value at 22nd round.

This is short term vs. long term. Brown has a bright future ahead although Berkman will put up nice numbers from now on. Personally I would keep Brown. He's worth the investment.

Agree with Phillip. Are you going for it this year or next?
For future years, give me Brown. For this year, give me Berkman.

I like berkman this year and next over brown as he will play for the yankees under contract. It is a very lethal lineup with his addition.
