Keeper league trade proposal

Postby Phillip » Sat Jul 31, 2010 12:35 am

I was proposed the following
From me: Jose Reyes
To me: Elvis Andrus and Andrew McCutchen

This is a keeper league where we keep our choice of 10 players regardless of draft position. Lock keepers for me now are: Pujols, Howard, Wright, JUpton, Dunn (it is an AVG and OPS league), B.Phillips, Lincecum, and FelixHernandez. Reyes would make 9 and I don't have a lock 10 (possibilities of Lind, Bay, Bruce). Would you take the above deal of Andrus and McCutchen or keep Reyes?

Do it then keep Mccutchen and Bruce. They are both very talented young hitters.

I would take the deal if it were McCutchen for Jose straight up. You also get Andrus?

Yeah.

And, call me crazy, but I'd keep both of the guys you're getting for Reyes as keepers.

Does it make a difference if the league is a 6 X 6 where the additional category is OPS? Or that there are 2 years beyond this year and then rosters are reset?

I would take this deal in a heartbeat. Andrew is the 2nd coming of Crawford, and Elvis is a young stud. Excellent in a keeper!

Thanks for the help.

like the others I would do this as well. TEX offense is a leadoff hitter heaven, and Andrus will reap the rewards for a long period of time. Plus you get McCuthen

I'll repeat the other posts and suggest you take it. You're getting two young players and it's not like you are losing out on speed.

I will have to echo the previous comments. Andrus is a slight downgrade but getting McCutchen will pay off huge down the road. Do it!

Thanks for the help on mine.

you win with that trade as reyes will never be what he was...plus there is no run production.

Thanks for your help, I also added my team in there...if you can check it out once more. thanks!
