I give: H. Bell and C Rasmus
I get: J. Santana and N. McLouth
I know McLouth is in the minors, but does he make it back up this year? Next year?
I need a good SP...and Santana seems to fit the bill...
Any help would be great. I just lost Edwin Jackson to WSox (I'm in NL only league)...not that it was a great loss, but gaining Santana will help...
Link me and I'll help you with your questions...

I would do it even if McLouth doesn't come back. Santana has been pitching great lately (minus the St Louis start) and Rasmus has slipped in July. If you need a good SP you should be able to afford losing Bell.

In an NL only league, I think that Rasmus has more value than this.
Bell is quote possibly the most dominant NL closer so far, Rasmus is a $2 player for the next 2 years, and I can extend for +$5 a season added. So there's huge value there for the next 4 years at least.
Santana is not a keeper at his price.
I countered with C. Ross + Bell for Santana + McLouth. I think McLouth will come back and play again. He's good for some steals...maybe some power...another 20 / 20 season isn't out of question.
He has Gallardo and Dempster, so I swapped Santana's name with Dempster or Gallardo if he still want Rasmus.

I'd stay put...Bell is great and rasmus has his moments...Johan does too, but a bit too inconsistent to deal the talent.

So...he took my counter.
I get: Dempster ($7A) + McLouth ($11A)
I give: Rasmus + Bell.

Had McLouth been 8-6 years younger, that might have been alright. But the guy is pushing 30 and gets sent to the minors? Not cool.
Please help with mine?
