I give Hamels and Axford and I get Grienke.

The other guy needs saves, as he had Rauch and Soriano, and now that Capps will likely close he only has one closer. I have 4 and I think Axford will lose saves down the stretch to Hoffman. I am in second place, but 14 games ahead of 3rd and 1 GB of first. Should I do the deal? WHIR if you leave a link

Re: Hamels and Axford for Grienke WHIR

I think Axford is a fixture in MIL, Hoffman might be moved, (Red Sox are interested?) none the less I don't think you need Axford that badly

I guess it comes down to Hamels for Grienke? one pitches for the better team, (Hamels) the other is coming off of a Cy Young season.

I go Hamels,

I don't think Grienke is a big enough upgrade over Hamels to deal Axford... I say you aim a bit higher.
