Butler/Gio for Escobar/Hanson

Without listing rosters in a dynasty league who wins out in this trade?

Billy Butler and Gio Gonzalez for Alcides Escobar and Tommy Hansen?

I still have faith in Escobar so I would lean towards the Escobar/Hanson side......But its rather close. The deciding factor would be Butler (1B) vs Escobar (SS) harder to find a legit SS.

I like escobar but I just don't see him close to butler at all...ever in fantasy point production. I really like butler a lot to me this is a 23yr old .310+ 20+ MI player that could turn those doubles into more hr's. Only thing I don't like is the drop from hanson to gio but I think its not nearly as severe as butler to escobar. I value hitting more them pitching as well.

Anyone else have opinions on this as it could effect my team for years

I would lean towards to Hanson side...Hanson is superior to Gio by a fair margin, and while Butler is without a doubt better than Escobar, Escobar still has time to mature and put up some good numbers. And, as someone above said, it is much more difficult to find a good SS then a good 1B.

Just my $.02
