I was just kicked out of a dynasty league for making a joke about some of the trade offers I've been getting. This was a league of strangers who I met through Yahoo. The commissioner for some reason took offense (he was one of the guys who were sending uneven trades). The other guys in the league engaged in playful trashtalking with me and the whole thing died down. And then for some reason, I got booted today.

I was in 2nd place, and would have probably taken over 1st this week. Team looked like:

C: Wieters, Soto, Arencibia, Jesus Montero
1b: Votto, Laporta
2b: Cano
3b: Aram, Viciedo
SS: Stephen Drew
OF: Justin Upton, Carlos Gonzalez, Dominic Brown, Ichiro, Jason Bay

SP: Strasberg, Felix, Gollardo, Hanson, Hamels, Cahill, Pelfrey, Hellickson
RP: Capps, Lindstrom, Perez, Feliz

Sucks because I really liked this team and got kicked for lighthearted trashtalking (no cursing, no insults, no warnings from commish, and no prior offenses). I really hope this isn't commonplace amongst commissioners here.

Too bad about that, but you are better off without those guys if they treat people that way. This year was my first year to play with strangers. I don't like it at all. There is not social aspect to it. Guys complain about trades. I would guess even if I win there will be no "congratulations" from them. I am going to stick to people I know. It makes for a more fun experience.
