On a side note why can't Willy T get a job? Don't get me wrong I don't want him starting for my team but I wouldn't mind a guy on the bench who is blazing fast and plays good defense for late in the game.

Willy Taveras didn't make A+ until he turned 21.......Gose is playing at A+ as a 19 year old (third youngest player in the league).

Gose stole 76 bases as a 18 year old (lead the entire minors)......a total Taveras never reached in any two seasons combined, in the minors.

not sure what you mean when you say "not to mention the difference in defense" when willy-t has a plus arm and good range. im not sure about the metrics, but he was always regarded as a good defensive center fielder.

also, stating gose stole 76 bases without also stating how much he got caught, tells me nothing. he stole 76 bases but was caught 20 times, and then followed that up by stealing 37 bases and was caught 27 times.

willy taveras stole 68 bases in the MAJORS one season, while only being caught 7 times.

all im saying is if people are comparing his speed (base stealing abilities) and defense to willy-t, thats definitely not a bad thing.
