I like your thinking, but I think that you probably should go with Cueto (thinking of this season and possibly next).

Thanks for the help on mine. I'd lean towards Chacin, to me Cueto can be great but doesn't seem to have the right mental makeup to make that leap to greatness. Chacin seems pretty "grounded" and seems poised to be the #2 behind Ubaldo. He'll be back up soon and starting no relieving. Besides you're already well ahead so either you shoot for a better pitcher or keep Chacin (my preference).

I would have to go with Chacin...I have Sanchez and though he normally does better 2nd half...I cannot stand his lack of elite status b/c he is so inconsistent.
thanks!
if you'd like I have another post...

Cueto is an established starter and he pitches in a launching pad park - and does a very good job there.
Chacin...I like the guy (picked him up a when he first came up) and plan on keeping him next season. Would I give him up for Cueto? Probably, but it would depend on the keeper value of Cueto.
So...short term is Cueto. Long term is Chacin.
