NL Keepers - Which is LEAST desirable

Postby milmoose » Thu Jul 29, 2010 11:19 am

5X5 NL Only Keeper league. Punted a month ago and have accumulated keepers. I still have some chips (Rasmus/Berkman) to make a bid for Pujols or Hanley.
Which is these is LEAST desirable for 2011 - beyond?

It depends on how long you expect this league to continue. If only for one year or so than strasburg might be least desierable. But if you expect the league to continue for a few years you don't want to risk losing Strasburg. So then CarGo because his peripherals aren't as good as the others, his position has a lot more talent to choose from, and his redraft won't be as high as the others.

I think CarGo is the least desirable. You should look to trade Tulo and your trade chips to get HanRam. Since you are out of it, get the best keepers you can.

Hope that helps.

your 5th guy is going to be better than alot of teams 3rd already. Not too sure if Berk/Rasmus & 1 of these will get you 1 of the big 2 tho. I think you are set

Unfortunately Hanley is on a "punting" team, so he won't be traded. Ditto for Halladay.
I just offered Berkman/Rasmus/CarGo for Pujols. A 10% chance that hits, otherwise I'm fine for next year.
