Rank these pitchers for the rest of the year WHIR

Postby islandflyfisher » Thu Jul 29, 2010 9:43 am

It looks like I am going to be able to trade Roberts/Weeks/a pitcher for Choo/Verlander.
Which pitcher would you give up?

Stats are WHIP, OBA, SV, W, K, ERA.

My Current Starters:
Johnson
Carpenter
Niemann
Latos
Marcum
Cahill

Obviously not Johnson/Carp, but who would you give up, given the choice?

Marcum is the worst, then Cahill, then Niemann

Latos, Johnson and Carp all rank ahead of Verlander

I'd try to either place Cahill or Niemann in that deal. Marcum and Latos would be a bit too much for you to give up. I think Niemann is in for a fall, and currently has good-looking numbers, so he might be the best to place in that deal. I'm not sure if Cahill gets it done for you.
(In reference to an Aaron Hill for David Price swap)
