Should this trade be vetoed?

16-team H2H non-keeper league:

Phil Hughes + Jason Kubel for Matt Holliday.

I'm the commissioner and I'm the one acquiring Matt Holliday.

Generally strongly against vetos, but that's one terrible trade. It certainly reflects bad on you as commish to be taking an elite OF for a shaky SP and OF. Here are the things I'd be looking at:

- Who's available on the WW as an OF? I can't believe there's no one out there at Kubel's level.
- What's the other owner's rationale? IMO, Kubel's not going to contribute in a meaningful way in any counting stats (no SB, and 20 HR guys are all over), and his BA is not good. Hughes will get some wins behind the NYY offense, but his K rate is down, and his ERA/WHIP aren't so hot. He's also likely to get shut down come September.
