TRADE HELP! Konerko/Quentin/Huff

Ok so I am currently in 6th place fighting to stay alive in playoffs. Its a 10 team h2h league. I was just going to drop Quentin so I could reactivate Tulo. Keep that in mind. I want to trade by Konerko and Quentin for his Aubrey Huff. Huff has huge 2nd half numbers and can play OF. What are peoples thoughts? Also, I should I try to ship Jeter around since i have tulo coming back?

If you plan on cutting a player, might as well offer him around and see what could happen. I think Konerko/Quentin for Huff is a bit silly on your part, but if you want Huff, go for it. I'd rather have the two white sox.

I'd prefer to package Jeter and a SP to upgrade at SP. Try and get a top 10 kind of guy. Just look at the rosters and find the team with the weakest SS situation, and attack.

Thanks for the response! It may seem a bit silly but since I was going to drop Quentin I see it as a Huff for Konerko trade. Konerko has slighty better numbers but also could slow down.. who knows!

The guy also has Chris Young and originally I was trying to trade Quentin and Konerko for Young and Huff but guy wasnt having it. I'd still really like to get both.. Any trade offer ideas?

Perhaps you could sell high on Rickie Weeks, since you'll have Utley coming back in a few weeks?

I feel you on the sell high attitude. I just cant afford to sell Weeks RIGHT now because Utley still is several weeks away.. And utley was underachieving this year so Weeks might be a better fit anyways... I feel you though on the sell high mentality... I just trade Bautista... I just offered a Jeter/Romero trade for Latos/Axford.. We'll see how that goes over!

PS the guy who has young and huff also has hamilton.. man id sure LOVE to get him. Probably have to give up too much for him though.

Try trading before you drop anyone. Personally, I'm not a fan of SB specialists in H2H and so, I'd use Jeter and Gardner as a trade package. You could try selling Weeks, but I think getting a #1 type ace is more important.

Good idea. I never thought about that. Besides Gardner is starting to slip and if I need to pick anyone up to replaced him I could pick up Posednik.. His value has to go up now that he is playing for the dodgers.

The guys has alot of infielders, 4 of which are 1b so that is why Gonzo is expendable.. What are your thoughts??
