Ok here is the deal. This is an 8 team h2h league. I have been in 1st place all year. 4 teams make the playoffs. The 5th place team (who is the commish and can veto any trade he feels 'un-acceptable') is wanting to trade his Chris Carpenter and Cleff Lee to the 2nd place team for Buster Posey , Nelson Cruz, and AJ Burnett???? This just reaks of somebody dumping players to help out a buddy to me. I called the commish out on this and him and the guy in 2nd place keep trying to justify this move as legit. They say cruzx and Posey are hot right now (which is true) and that Burnett is turning the corner ( I highly disagree with. He has played weak team this month and played Tampa last week and got shelled in two innings work)
This is what pisses me off about the move. If the guy in 5th place was really trying to deal pitching to make his team better, The person in 2nd place has TONS of bats!! (all better then Nelson Cruz in my opionion.) He has Pujols, Josh Hamilton, Longoria, and even Vlady. Is this a BS trade??? Do I have the right to be absolutly pissed off about this??? What are some of your guys opinions? How could I argue this move? I know Cruz and Posey have been hot as of late? But CLIFF LEE and Carpenter HOT????
Let me know if you want me to post both teams rosters and I will.

IMO, it's an even trade even without Burnett, especially if its a keeper league.

That is a very even trade. When I read the trade at first without the reaction, it didn't jump out to me which side you were complaining about and, to me, those are the only type of trades that are vetoable. One side has to be unbeliavably making out and it has to jump out right away that one side is uneven. This is not the case with this trade.
Help with mine?

It's fairly even. Nelson Cruz is more of a stud than you think. I think the 2nd place team is getting a slightly better deal, but it's not so uneven that I'd cry foul.

cliff lee = nelson cruz
carp > posey/burnett but not by much
def not a crap trade though, if the owner thinks burnett is gonna turn the corner then let him make that mistake. Posey can turn out to be a flop or can turn out to be the top catcher in fantasy.
i like the cliff lee/carp side a bit more but this trade is def not a crap trade or anything that should be vetoed.....check out cruz this guy is a top 5 OF easy.....way better than crappy kemp and better than braun.

If its not a keeper league then I would say it is an uneven deal in favour of the guy who gets Lee/Carpenter. That said I don't see any collusion here as your man in 5th place is fighting to make playoffs. If he was completely out of it then I would make a stink.
