I just got offered joe mauer and carl crawford for my justin morneau neil walker and jon lester. Although this trade helps my offense a lot, my pitching will take a hit. What should i do?

Hmm. I would strongly consider this, and possibly pull the trigger. Mauer and Crawford are two great players, and are the two best players in the deal in my opinion. Neil Walker isn't a big loss, there are other WW guys just like him. Morneau is hurt, and who knows what he'll be like when he gets back. Lester is a great pitcher, but I don't know. You'd be making a huge upgrade at C (dump Russell Martin) and in the OF (drop tabata maybe).
What's available on the WW for SP to replace Lester? That'll help decide it.
(In reference to an Aaron Hill for David Price swap)

where are you at standings-wise in the league? do you need pitching? wins/era/whip/Ks/etc? how's that offense... can mauer, even flexing a bit more muscle lately even tho he's not the 35HR guy from last year nor is he the .330+ guy it seems, provide a spark? russell martin is a fantasy nothing in my world.
i mean you seem to be in a pretty deep league and knowing where you're at and what battles you need to face would allow me to better help you.
on teh merits of the trade alone, i'd take it. crawford = best SB option in baseball.. maybe not the most pure steals, but he's also had 5 HR and ~15 RBI in the last month along with steals and his all-around game has made him easily the best SB option you've got. mauer over russell is a giant upgrade, even if this is shades of old battingchampionesque power-free mauer... so on the merits alone you take that and run.
but if you really need pitching and your offense is set, then i could see holding onto lester cuz your pitching is... ergh.
Currently i am in 8th place and the top 8 make the playoffs. I am like 12.5 back from the first place team if that helps. Also here are my stats cats if it helps.
Batters Stat Categories: Runs (R), Home Runs (HR), Runs Batted In (RBI), Stolen Bases (SB), Batting Average (AVG), On-base + Slugging Percentage (OPS)
Pitchers Stat Categories: Wins (W), Saves (SV), Strikeouts (K), Holds (HLD), Earned Run Average (ERA), (Walks + Hits)/ Innings Pitched (WHIP)
oh shoot i didn't notice it's a head to head league. hmmmmm
well do you need more offense or pitching? if you need offense, then you hurry and hit accept.... if your offense carries the day and your pitching is where you're lacking, then you have a tougher time doing it... i mean, lester is a quality starter and on your team you need that, but if you think the offensive boost can help you win more games week in week out then you go with that
