Keeper question WHIR

Postby galante22 » Tue Jul 27, 2010 8:59 pm

now i know its only half way through the season but im lookin at my team now and have more guys then i can keep. h2h league 5x5 scoring and u can only keep 5 players.

my four definate keepers
arod
tulo
ubaldo
carlos gonzalez

options for my 5th are
youkilis
werth
victorino
danks
floyd
colby lewis(doubtful)
aram(also doubtful)

forgot to mention you can only keep a plauer for up to 3 years. youkilis ive already kept for 2 years so next year would be his last and werth ive kept for one year so i could have him for two more.

Absolutely Kevin Youkilis. He will be much better than Jayson Werth next season at a weaker position. I am sure that you will be able to find a viable canidate to keep next season through the draft.

Yep...Youk. I have trouble believing Werth will ever match last seasons numbers again...and I'm a Phils fan. Add in the fact that Youk plays at a more premium position(s), it makes it a fairly easy decision.

Neither Danks nor Floyd is worth keeping over Youkilis. I'd take advantage of the one year that you have left.
(In reference to an Aaron Hill for David Price swap)

Youk is better than A-Rod, so easy choice.

youkilis easily as your last keeper.
Try to deal Arod for a stud 1b. Youk has way more value as a 3b.

Yes, he is still your best bet. He should be ready to go come next season.

"Youkilis will know within the next few days how long he will be sidelined. Surgery would likely end his season, but it is a simple procedure that won't hurt him for 2011."

According to this article: http://www.nesn.com/2010/08/kevin-youki ... njury.html

Help with mine please? Thanks.
