I personally would not do it...Yet. Garcia is out of his mind and being on the Cards adds to his value. You'd have to think he will regress to a rookie season mean but I haven't seen it yet. So what do you get out of Oswalt that Garcia isn't providing- K's maybe? Sanchez will help out on that. Jones had that nice streak but Victorino has to be considered the superior player so that's an upgrade. The only way this deal makes sense to me is if 1)Oswalt is a Yankee by Saturday and I don't think he's going anywhere, 2)you have suspicions Garcia is regressing, and 3) there is a good pitcher on the WW. Overall, I'd stick with what I have.

I'm really confused by this deal. In my opinion both Sanchez and Garcia are better options than Oswalt.

And...Adam Jones isn't THAT far off from Victorino.

What do you see in this trade?

Not a chance of doing that deal. I like jon sanchez a lot better than oswalt and with Victorino now on the DL, the Sanchez side is a lot better IMO than Oswalt.
