Braun and Dotel for Cruz and Weaver?

I'd be getting Weaver and Cruz. This is a keeper league, but I'm trying to win this year. We can keep 2 hitters and 1 pitcher, so I'd still have Longoria and Votto to keep. What do u think?

I think it is hard giving up Braun but you wouldn't keep him with Longoria and Votto. Cruz is a fine replacement for Braun for the rest of the year and Weaver is a plus to your staff. I would do it.

Yeah, I think I'd do it. First of all, since you already have Longoria and Votto .. you're already set with your keepers. Secondly, Braun is not having a typical year. He's only hitting .276 on the season with 16 HR's. Ever since he got plunked by Hanson on the elbow a few months ago .. he just hasn't hit the same since. Meanwhile, Cruz has 14 HR's in way less at bats and bats in the middle of a powerful lineup and team that has something to play for. Oh, and Dotel Blows, and if you're trying to win it this year .. Weaver is an Ace and obviously a Huge addition for your staff.
