Alvarez for $1 is a big loss, but you are getting so much in return that I think you have to do this. Tex will be one of the best hitters for the rest of this season. Plus he'll be huge in the next several years as well. Your pitching adds some young, strong arms. Plus you get to unload the cancerous Lance Berkman.
