If you had him on your team, why WOULDN'T you start him against Detroit?
Detroit only have three players with more then 10 HRs, and they just lost one (Magglio).
They're minus Inge, Magglio and C.Guillen, this was the absolute perfect time to start him.

Prior to last night Garza was 0-4 with a 5.88 ERA vs. Detriot. He had also given up 24 ER in his last 31.2 IP (excluding his 2 out SV).
