Help with Hanley/Tulo trade! WHIR

Postby lyons595 » Mon Jul 26, 2010 7:11 pm

I lost 2/3 of my OF to injury and need to do something to upgrade the OF. The other owner also has Suzuki and VMart, so I was also thinking about trying to get Suzuki too.

my thoughts on offers, in order of preference:
I give: Hanley Ramirez and a SP (a:Hudson, b: J Garcia, c: Pavano)
I get: Tulowitzki and an OF (a: N Swisher, b: G Jones, c:H Pence, d:C Headley)

ESPN, h2h, 14 team, 4 RP max, daily. Cats: avg, r, hr, rbi, sb; w, k, sv, era, whip. Non-keeper. I stream SP weekly.

C Miguel Montero
1B Carlos Pena
2B Rickie Weeks
3B Evan Longoria
SS Hanley Ramirez
OF Matt Holliday
OF Andres Torres
OF Luke Scott
UTIL Drew Stubbs
DL Magglio Ordonez

SP Cole Hamels
SP Tim Hudson
SP Jaime Garcia
SP Carl Pavano
SP Wandy Rodriguez (stream)
SP Fausto Carmona (stream)
RP Mike Gonzalez
RP Matt Lindstrom
RP Juan Gutierrez

I agree.

Hey man, I make the deal.

Tulo has huge upside and if you can get Ichiro then that is a plus and will off-set the speed you lose from Han Ram.

I also grab Pence if you can as he is 30/100/20 upside and let go of one of the WW warriors your are utilizing due to injury.

What place are you in?

UPDATE:
Suzuki is Kurt, not Ichiro. I am in 4th place overall, first in my divison. the 3 division winners and a wild card make the playoffs.

Current offer is:
Hanley, J Garcia, A Torres

for

Tulo, Pence, K Suzuki

Hanley is at a tier by himself, and tulo is coming back off a hand injury, I think you need a legit OF to make this trade work, and trading torres right now doesnt help you

I agree that Hanley is in a world of his own, but Tulo has the upside to be a monster producer especially in his park. .290/100/35/100/15 are not out of the question for Tulo given a full season. I like Pence more than Torres with the park factor as a variable. Pence is solid and could breakout something big sometime soon.

Help me?

I dont do it though because of the Suzuki change. Montero is fine. Ride it out, your team is good enough to make the push.
