Player traded from one league to the other in real life

I've been playing fantasy baseball for several years now and this has never occurred to me before. Currently in an AL only league on Yahoo and has owned Alex Gonzalez all year. Now i know that when a player gets traded to the AL, he gets added to the player pool. But conversely, if a player gets traded to the NL,shouldn't he then be taken out of the AL player list? This is the case with Alex Gonzalez, and while he is still physically on my roster, I never thought that his stats would no longer count toward my weekly H2H stats. Now I know that it is only logical that his stats would no longer count since he is now in the NL, but like I said this has never occur to me since he is still physically on my roster.

Wonder what anyone thoughts are to this...or am I just being stupid, lol

Unless you are in a very abnormal league, his stats don't count anymore.

Actually in Yahoo a few years ago, as long as you didn't drop the player who was dealt to the other league you would still get stats for that guy, but they've since changed it and that player now becomes dead wood on your roster.
