Blue Jays 6 man rotation?

Postby hett2333 » Mon Jul 26, 2010 7:55 am

I've noticed the Blue Jays are using 6 starters this week. Any word if they are planning on using a 6 man rotation the rest of the season?

I've heard talk that they are gonna send someone down to call Snider up. Either way they'll be limiting innings on all the year arms.
Here's the pitch on the way, a swing and a belt! Left field! Way back! BLUE JAYS WIN!

They decided to skip Brandon Morrow's start last week in order to monitor his innings, and are planning to do the same with the other starters over the last 2 months. It's not really a 6 man rotation, but it will have a similar effect.

Dear Blue Jays,

Please stop mucking around E.Encarnacion and M.Rzeppelin.

As much as I'd like to see him, I don't see a place for Rzep in the rotation right now, and making him a reliever certainly isn't any kind of a solution.

And E5? He was a screw up long before he was forced on the Jays.

They had a double header so they're going with 6 starters. It's only temporary.
