Title says it all. Who's going to the more valuable of the two. I ask because I have Beltran and was offered Guerrero but I'm just curious who you guys think will shine brighter. Not a trade ? just curiosity.
I think Beltran, but most will say Vlad. They will be close in most stats, but Beltran will put up many more steals, while Vlad has the edge in HR's. If you are weak in SB's I'd consider keeping Beltran. If you have a guy like Crawford, Sanchez or Pierre, it might be smart to go for Vlad.

very close, but I'd take Beltran...add 100 AB's onto last years stats and he would have put up ridiculous numbers (he only had 521 AB's last year, but averaged 627 the previous two seasons)...
so his 102 R's, 10 3B, 26 HR's, 100 RBI, 41 SB's would have been more like
120 R's, 12 3B, 31 HR's, 120 RBI, 49 SB's with a .307 avg.(yikes...not that Vlad isn't capable of putting up similar numbers...minus a bunch of SB's with a few more HR's and a slightly better avg.)
still, injury-free Beltran is the way to go in my mind.
Vlad slightly- better avg hr rbi and runs, makes up for the SB in my mind. In my overall rankings I have Vlad at 4 and Beltran at 5, so it is very close.
