Two questions: 1. Who will win the AL Cy Young (which is the poll)? 2. Who should win the AL Cy Young?

1. Liriano won't win because he has a bad record and his ERA is not amazing. Lester, Price, or Lee have the best chance at actually winning. Sabathia could also take it.
2. I like Lester or Lee. Probably a slight edge to Lee.

Lester or Lee will likely win it due to high win totals. I'm leaning toward Lester as he presently has 2 more wins than Lee AND I expect Lee's peripherals to take a hit now that he's pitching half his games in Arlington (but man, his K/BB ratio is effin amazing!). I think Felix deserves to be in the conversation as equal with those two, but unfortunately his record will hurt him in the voters eyes.

Price and Sabathia would be my next 2, but IMO they are a tier below the top 3. However, their high win totals will certainly play out favorably for them in the eyes of the voters.
I voted Cliff Lee, because in all honesty, it doesn't look like the Red Sox will even make the playoffs this year, while what's happening down in Arlington is nothing short of amazing. Cliff Lee and the Rangers have an 8.5 game lead over the Angels

I really don't get this justification. Lester can't control what the team does on days he doesn't pitch: in fact, he can't entirely control what they do on days he does pitch. Also, why is Lee getting credit for playing on a winning team? He wasn't even on the team when they built that lead. For most of the year, he was on a much worse team than the Red Sox.
