Cruz or Kemp/Verlander for JJ/Ichiro - WHIR

Currently in 5th place in my 10 team weekly H2H 12 category league-categories are AVG OPS R HR RBI SB / ERA WHIP W QS K SVHD. I need to make up 19.5 games in the final 6 weeks, ive been winning matchups pretty easily since some good trades around week 11 but trying to find a way to solidify that for these later matchups. Ichiro's been fine, but a .320 average and meh OPS arent making up for the low runs, rbi, no power, and his SBs aren't all that necessary (i have crawford, c young, and a couple guys like phillips and kendrick that are stealing a few as well, so ive been easily winning that).

Was offered Cruz and Verlander for JJ and ichiro, my feeling is that im getting ripped off a little bit here--i dont see cruz being that much better than ichiro except in HR and RBI, and as good as verlander is, hes not the one with a 1.60 ERA. That said, the owner that proposed the trade mentioned that he might be able to deal Kemp instead of Cruz, which looks much better--if there's anyone to gamble on having a strong finish, its gotta be Kemp. Is JJ too valuable to deal, or am I underrating Ichiro? My other pitchers are Lester, Marcum, Danks, Pineiro, Wandy, and E Volquez so i can afford the downgrade if Kemp's worth it.

if you got kemp in the deal i think it would be worth it. Kemp had a huge august last year.

I really like Lester, Marcum, and Volquez, so you could certainly survive with a JJ downgrade to Verlander--let's face it, Verlander is nothing to sneeze at.

If you can get Kemp out of it, it'd be a nice deal for you.
