I think for a keepers league u made out good....Heyward is the key here and has the most long term potential out of any other player in the trade...short term the trade favors the other team, but long term heyward has the most potential and i feel meeks also has some potential as well...good trade.

help w mine?

i like the trade, I think Huff will cool off and Uggla is overrated. Guillen will hit like .290 for you but he's kinda subpar in everything else. Stolen Bases and HRs. the best thing he might get for you is RBIs just because of the lineup he's in. He's a slight downgrade from Uggla. But Heyward has so much potential and Im sure he'll be much better than Huff when its all said and done. Plus you get Evan Meek aka the Pirates closer in about two weeks. So losing Valverde wont hurt you that bad.

This is a good trade for you just on a talent basis. Heyward's the centerpiece of this, and you definitely bought him on the low (if that's even possible). Clearly he wont hit .250 all year.

help me please....

I like it from a keepers standpoint, definitely not as one for a yearly league.

Heyward should hold some long term value for sure. Uggla will sooner or later come back to earth too. Giving up Valverde is a hit, he's a stud and on a very good team to boot.

Huff is always a solid player, year in and year out but this year he is extremely good. IMO he won't have this kind of year again.

I like it. Help me..

Keeper wise you did well. Heyward is the future and the key to this deal, especially if you feel your out of it.

Whether you make this deal or not, I don't think this team was going to contend for a championship this year.

Thus, you made the right move in adding another keeper piece for the future. Heyward is very talented and has a ceiling that is quite high (even taller than he is!)
(In reference to an Aaron Hill for David Price swap)
