Gallardo $25

I think I'd be giving up too much if I give Broxton AND Rasmus. Not to mention I've got Rasmus at a GREAT contract amount. I get him for 2 more years, and can sign him for 5 more (@ + $5 per year added)

Will it give me the win this year? I don't know. I just snuck into 1st place, and as I've mentioned before, I'd like to get some stud pitching because that's the only place I can gain points.

With this trade, I will get my pitching stats, however, I lose a GREAT contract. Sure...I'd keep Gallardo next year, and that's a positive...but I don't know...I'm hesitant to pull the trigger on this one.

I have a couple other offers out there (Bell for Oswalt possibility, but I won't move on that until I KNOW Oswalt isn't getting traded), AND I'm in talks to got Wainwright and Lincecum for Broxton, Rasmus, + 1 (that one isn't decided upon yet).

Id say it depends on how important that $2 contract is to you--id definitely make the trade otherwise. that said, if you can get wainwright and lincecum in a deal for broxton, rasmus and pretty much anyone it'll probably be better, and i like both of those guys more than gallardo. they're both good deals for sure, and as long as you can afford to lose the $2 contract id go for wainwright and lincecum if possible and then go for gallardo if you can't get them.
