MY Braun,Romero,JGarcia 4 HIS JRoll,Hamels,Cahill...WHIR!!!!

My roster is BELOW! Obviously this trade is RISKY as heck bc JRoll is oft injured this season so Im definitely concerned with giving up my BEST player in Braun but Ive been getting KILLED all season long at the SS position... I understand that this season is deep at SS but IF JRoll is healthy in the 2nd half, he could match Brauns production (obviously NOT power #s but overall fantasy value). I like the pitchers that i gain too, as i feel like Hamels could emerge as the Ace he is supposed to be and Romero/JGarcia have overacheived to this point IMHO... Lemme know what u guys think! but thats just MY opinion, id LOVE to hear YOURS!!!!

PS this would allow me to Drop Alexei and/or SDrew for some quality Arms on FA (BAndersons comin back, just to name 1 guy) but theres def more FAs than most leagues bc its a 10 teamer

I WISH this were true but Im gonna guess that you DONT own Stephen Drew??? Haha, because if you did, youd clearly see that in this Past Month he has 0 HRs / 3 RBIs / 2 SBs / a .270 Avg... FAAAAAR from "picking it up"!!! Trust me, I wish Drew would turn it around, i traded for him a while ago but hes been a HUGE disappointment! I hate to deal a stud like Braun but if JRolls healthy for the 2nd Half, this trade benefits my team! I dunno, Opinions still Welcomed!!!!

My opinion is you forget about this deal. Your OF isnt deep enough to stand the loss of Braun. I have Rollins and he hasnt been anything special since his return, I have a feeling his injury is still lingering..he was on fire to start the year. I cant see any way he matches Braun in production this year. Hamels has only just recently started picking it up (have him also). I would still drop someone to grab Anderson but wouldnt make this trade just to do so.

June was a disaster for Drew but July he's hitting nearly .350. Power hasn't been there yet but I know a couple years ago he came up big in the 2nd half for me.He's just not someone I'd want to dump; maybe I'm believing what I want but I still think this deals a loser for you

fast dogs... i HOPE youre right about Stephen Drew, I mean, ive been waiting on Drew to 'breakout' this season but it doesnt appear to be coming anytime soon and that sucks!!! Im still 'torn' on this deal, but im definitely leaning towards "NO". The idea of nabbing a top 5 SS definitely entices me but at what cost??? Do I really give up my BEST offensive weapon and there still is a chance that JRoll is NOT 100% healthy and also there is outside shot that Alexei Ramirez or Stephen Drew breaks out and plugs the hole at SS, but its clearly an outside shot and highly doubtful!!! I DONT KNOW!!! I could use 2-4 MORE opinions before i make "THE DECISION" Tonight at 9PM on ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN3, and ESPN8 "The Ocho".

From where I see it, you really want this trade to happen. However, step back a moment and look into this from another perspective:

Braun > JRoll (BY A LOT)

Romero = Hamels (and maybe slightly better)

J Garcia = Cahill (And Cahill has a slight edge, but Garcia will get you more W's)

You will be sacrificing W's, BA, HR's, RBI's, OPS, and K's. You will be improving nowhere. Rollins won't steal the way he used to and Braun still will match him the rest of the way. Also, I would drop Alexei or Drew anyhow for Anderson.
