It looks like a much deeper league than I've ever played so I mighy not have much help to offer. My first reaction is that you should be able to get more for those guys. The second deal looks like a bunch of career backups - not much long term help in my opinion. I had to look up the players in the first deal - a couple of low minors pitchers and a non-prospect (almost 28 yr-old) 3B doesn't seem like a good return on one of the top C's in MLB. Maybe I just don't understand your league, but these don't seem like good deals to me.
Team that offered first deal is now considering pulling out of deal to let another deal happen. Should I accept the deal now or let the deal die? I'm worried that I won't be able to get as much value for McCann and risk losing him for nothing.
Trvis Metcalf is a career AAA player, Main may be good or may not, he isn't a highly touted prospect, and I never heard of Ross, so I say No, try to get more legitimate prospects like a top 1o prospect hitter instead of pitching the second trade is just roster filling back ups.
It looks to me like you are losing McCann for virtually nothing if you take this deal anyways. I wouldnt make a move where you give up clear value unless you get something of clear value in return.
