I would have kept Kinsler, one of the top 2B options especially with Utley hurt. Rios has been very good so far, but there are more solid OF's than there are 2B.

im trying to catch up in the power dept. so now i have rios in my lineup and i put mcgahee in the 2b spot who is above average power for 2b. that was my thinking

Yes, mistake, but I don't think you've crippled yourself...not a huge stat diff and if you have a better 2B, no worries.

kinsler wasnt hitting home runs and theres always a good chance he will get hurt

Yes, but he is healthy now, hits in the best lineup in baseball and plays 2B. There are only a handful of good second baseman and a ton of good OF.
