Off to the Game...

Yes, DK, your ever-friendly Mets fan (ever-friendly AND a Mets fan? I know, it's almost unthinkable) is heading off to see the East Regionals tonight in Continental Airlines Arena. First, I'll be seeing Pittsburgh take on Oklahoma State, afterwards comes St. Joe's vs. Wake Forest. I'm taking St. Joe's and Oklahoma St., and I believe one of the games will go to OT. I'll also see the East Championship game Saturday night.

I'll be literally about nine rows from the back, but hey, it's basketball, right? College basketball, too, where the game is really played. Unlike the NBA, in which games are basically Isolation plays (IE Philadelphia with Iverson, Orlando with T-Mac). The only teams that play really well together are the Nets, Lakers, Pistons, and Jazz, just off the top of my head.

I'll see you guys tomorrow. Wish me luck on getting to the game, won't be easy. ;-D

The St Joes spread was too high for my liking - I don't recall what it was but I'm pretty sure that they didn't cover.

I also had Bama + 2.5. woohooo!

Actually, I thought the spread was St. Joe's by 2. Maybe I'm mistaken.
