Postby ctom87 » Mon Jul 12, 2010 11:14 pm

3rd David Wright
OF Nelson Cruz
OF Josh Willingham
OF Carl Crawford
UTIL Adam Dunn
UTIL Brennan Boesch
bench David Dejesus
bench Jason Nix
DL Luke Scott

P Ubaldo Jimenez
P David Price
P CJ Wilson
P Rickey Romero
P Jamie Garcia
P Doug Fister
P Colby Lewis
P Carl Pavano
P Clayton Kershaw
P Livan Herenandez
P R A Dickey
P Max Scherzer
P Jason Vargas

You are set in the pitching department. I would do that deal straight up. Andrus will be better than Tejada for the team you currently have. You did well turning down the deal for Kershaw. He provides good Ks and is not walking as many in the last month.

tejeda was a short term fix. i drafted Jose Reyes, and stayed with him as long as i could, but he just wasn't putting the numbers up. I finally dropped him and made a deal for Juan Uribe, but recently dropped him to add tejeda last week.

If you can get Andrus, I make this deal and it will help your team more than if you stood pat.

I think you will regret giving up on Reyes. He is a better option than Andrus in the 2nd half if he is healthy. That is a big if though.

I do think you have to do the trade but I do agree giving up on Reyes wasn't the best idea. I also do think Andrus slows down in the second half but still think he's a great fit for your team.

I wonder if Garcia fades in the 2nd half; looks too good for you

And? Arod and Teix started terribly too. You don't drop past elite performers for slow starts.
