Votto is awesome, but Cabrera is on a triple crown pace. You don't give that up without getting someone who I think is more consistent as a starter back in return. I'd want someone other than Hamels to give up Miggy.

Agreed, especially because your starting pitching looks good. If you can upgrade at 2B or 3B, I'd do it, but a drop in quality at 1B and another (not needed) SP doesn't make sense to me...

yehh votto is a start but more is needed, i traded miggy this year a couple weeks ago, i got doc halladay, tulowitzki nd grienke nd mo, hope that helps u gage how highly valued cabrera is this year

If you can get maybe another decent position player or a much better pitcher than Hamels, I'd be in favor. But Cole? No.

Agree with all the above. Hamels just isn't worth the move down. I wouldn't do it for less then a Lester, Wainright type paired with Votto.
